On Tuesday 25th March, a group of over 20 people including blind or vision impaired and support or volunteers joined us for a walk along the Frankston foreshore boardwalk, often regarded as one of Port Phillip Bay’s most beautiful beaches.
We walked south along the boardwalk to Oliver’s Hill and some returned along the beach front enjoying the sand between our toes, guide dogs feeling the freedom of water and the soft autumn sunshine upon us.
After the walk, the group enjoyed a lunch at Oliver’s Corner Cafe followed by a stroll down the long Frankston pier, before returning home.
