Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invite adults who are blind or vision impaired to visit the Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre for a Come & Try Aqua Fit Session.
Working out in the water is a fun way to get fit, putting less stress on joints and muscles while helping to build strength, endurance and cardio fitness. Beforehand, you will also have a choice of trying out a gym or pilates class tailored specifically to the needs of people with vision loss. All fitness levels welcome.
Escape the Winter cold this June and join us in a nice warm pool with friends!
When: Monday 3rd June. 1pm - 4pm.
Where: Broadmeadows Aquatic & Leisure Centre, 41-85 Tanderrum Way, Broadmeadows.
Cost: FREE
What to bring: Bathers, towel, water bottle.
Transport: Option to meet at Travellers Aid, Flinders Street Train Station and travel to venue together.
