Join BSRV for some gentle exercise.

Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invites adults who are blind or vision impaired to participate in an orientation tour of the Melbourne City Baths, followed by an introductory Mat Pilates class.

Mat Pilates is a strengthening and stretching form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles while also training your arms and legs. Mat Pilates is done on the floor using a yoga mat without any equipment, but can be modified to work in a chair.

Practicing Mat Pilates helps build a strong, balanced body, increases flexibility, improves posture and reduces stress and tension. Afterwards, we will walk to Mr Tulk Cafe, State Library, to enjoy lunch and a social catch-up.
