Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria invite adults who are blind or vision impaired to come along for a beautiful 4km walk from Brighton Beach to Sandringham that features a mix of concrete and crushed rock paths.
Along the way we’ll enjoy a moment of mindfulness and relaxation through some Tai Chi with the wonderful Marg. We will also connect with nature through beach themed ‘Sensing Nature’ invitations with Rachel, Rose and Marg.
We may split in to two groups depending on people’s preferences to either walk along the foreshore and perhaps dip your toes in the water or stay on the path.
This seaside adventure will be a wonderful opportunity to socialise during the walk and over lunch afterwards at a local Café in Sandringham.
Following lunch we will depart from Sandringham Station at 2pm, returning to Flinders Street Station between 2:30pm and 2:45pm.
Those who drove can catch the train back 2 stops to Brighton Beach to pick up their car.
When: Wednesday 5th March, 2025. 10am-2pm.
