Join us to explore Merriwa Park in Wangaratta using all our senses.

Activate your senses with an accessible nature walk and fun art activity.

Prepare to engage your senses as we explore Merriwa Park in Wangaratta. Discover the park's natural environment through its unique scents, intriguing sounds, and diverse textures and express your creativity through an accessible art activity, using natural elements.

Blind Sports and Recreation Victoria invite adults and children with vision loss and their families to join in on this unique sensory experience. It's a great opportunity to get outdoors these school holidays. Suitable for all ages.
Family and support people are encouraged to join in.

We'd love you to join us and enjoy a slow walk around Merriwa Park, experiencing the natural environment with our non-visual senses.

Where: Merriwa Park, 66 Ryley Street, Wangaratta.

When: Thursday 10th April, 10:30am to 1pm.

Cost: Free.

Transport: Own transport to venue, or public transport - Catch the 401 bus to the Ford Street stop. Please let us know when registering for this event if you will be catching the bus and we can meet you at the bus stop.

Support: Please bring a support person if required. If you require volunteer support on the day please let us know in advance.
