To kick off the September school holidays, four families with children with vision loss bravely faced the rain and wind, to feed horses and turkeys, collect warm eggs from chickens and ducks, brush and decorate Custard the pony, pat three young calves, cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs, and say hello to Luna the pig. It was exciting to smell the country air, run around with friends and experience a variety of up-close animal encounters.
Animals Fur All is the name of a family-run business and animal farm 57 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, in the heart of Asparagus country - Tooradin. This farm is owned and run by Tatiana and her husband, and began as a way of helping their own children’s special needs.
