On Tuesday 29th October, Jenny Dodd, BSRV Program Manager, hosted a group of 14 women, discovered their sanctuary when they attended BSRV’s women’s wellness day at Alba, a world-class thermal springs & day spa on the Mornington Peninsula. Soaking in some of the 22 geothermal pools, sauna/steam room and enjoying lunch at Alba’s acclaimed Thyme restaurant.
One participant, Susan who travelled from Bundoora to attend, said “From the very warm welcome by Alba’s staff and Jenny when we arrived, to the friendly, engaging joyful and adventurous women I met, the luxurious smells of soaps, shampoos, soft bath robes, warm relaxing spas and the elegant restaurant with great food. It was definitely beyond my expectations”.
