BSRV offers a range of FREE online fitness sessions for blind and vision impaired people to get fit at home, thanks to the Department of Social Services who support the program.
Blind Sports volunteers are also welcome to join. Please join us.
It's a nice way to keep moving and feeling great all in the comfort of your own home.|
How does a ZOOM walking fitness session work?
The ZOOM walking fitness sessions involve listening to an exercise session on YouTube, while BSRV’s Program Coordinator provides verbal explanations about some of the moves involved.
Our Program Coordinator will also verbally describe some of the moves prior to the YouTube video commencing via the zoom link.
When:
Wednesday 9.30am (dial in from 9.20am) - coordinated by Robyn
Friday 9.30am (dial in from 9.20am) - coordinated by Robyn
Sessions run 30-45 minutes
How:
Connect to Zoom video/audio conferencing to join the class. BSRV can offer advice and support to help you connect.
All fitness levels are welcome, no equipment is necessary, and anyone who is blind or has low vision around Australia can join in.
Volunteers are also welcome to join. We'd love to meet new walkers.
